Go ahead and make fun of me now. It is true. I officially am old. The above picture of my sexy new minivan is proof! (Stop laughing…that’s not nice! I can hear you teasing me through the internet. I have that technology!)
Sarah and I took the plunge on Black Friday. To my credit, she is way more excited than I am.
The fact is that we are trying to be really smart with our limited resources now that the Michigan economy is in the landfill. We believe that we got a really great deal on this mini, and that it suits our growing family nicely. Also, I’m proud to announce that we officially own all of our vehicles now (in partnerships with local banks ;o) That being said, I’m still proud of us, because leasing has become a bottomless pit for us. If we had been smart and bought our first couple of vehicles when we got married, we would probably have decent vehicles with no payments right now. Live and learn, I’m just happy to FINALLY be on the right side of the equation. I now have sensible vehicles that are cost effective…at least I have 2 sensible vehicles!
Anyways, I look forward to taking each of you for a spin in the new ghetto cruiser/grocery wagon. It’s like a futuristic space vehicle!
Also, I want to thank Bill Vandam and the entire team at EXTREME DODGE in Jackson, MI for taking such great care of us. I got a great deal on this ride, in less than an hour, with my wife and 3 little girls in tow! Shopping at Extreme Dodge was a great experience.
I laughed through all of the others, but when Grammy got to Teagan’s, awwwwwwwwwwwwwe was all that I could say:)
