It has taken a special day like Good Friday to get me writing here again. I’ve been so wrapped up with my new “You Tube Addiction” that I have neglected the good old art of sitting down and organizing your thoughts.
Good Friday reminds me of all the things that I’m thankful for in this amazing journey called human life. Most importantly today I’m thankful for Jesus. Knowing Jesus has not done anything magical for me (so to speak). I’m still just a regular guy trying to be “good”, love people, and just do the next right thing in life…because there are so many things that can get you off course. What Jesus HAS done has provided me with an awesome “Lens” through which to view the universe. The lens leads me to love people, want to spread joy whenever I can, and helps me have peace in a world of uncertainty. FOR THIS I AM ETERNALLY GRATEFUL! I just found out yesterday that an old friend from High School committed suicide…I don’t know the situation, but I suspect that he didn’t have a lens with which to understand life. I pray for his family, as I’m sure they are pained.
To all you reading this…I love you, and am so grateful for the significant role that you each have played and continue to play in the lives of me and my 4 girls! We are SO BLESSED! It is almost unbelievable, except I get to live it every day!
I laughed through all of the others, but when Grammy got to Teagan’s, awwwwwwwwwwwwwe was all that I could say:)
