So on days like this when I get home from work and Sarah is taking pictures in our backyard of the kids…I can’t help but be very thankful for all the blessings in life!  Living in heaven today!

So it has been an extremely long time since I’ve allowed myself the luxury of a little free time to sit down and blog. It appears that 4 kids and a dog is a crazy life!

And a wonderful life too, that is for sure. The kids are doing extremely well, and the three girls love their new little brother…even Teagan is coming around and figuring out that she is not the baby anymore. Sarah is homeschooling, and that is fantastic! I’m amazed at the power of Classical Education…Emersyn is reading very well, and she just turned 5 two weeks ago! Ashtyn is not even 7 yet, and she is almost better at math multiplies than me. Sarah is an amazing mother, but anyone who knows her already knows that.

Our house is 99% rebuilt after the fire last Memorial Day. It is so good to be back in! Only a few more touch up items, and it will be good as new. Many thanks to Auto Owners Insurance for being there when we needed them! Great insurance company!

NorthStar is going extremely well and keeping me busy. I am so blessed to work with great clients and brilliant partners!

We are looking forward to the summer! Lots of camping and time with friends. I also owe Sarah a nice get-away or two, as we are coming up on 12 years of marriage this year!

I’m looking at the picture “mash up” this morning, and it struck me that very few of those pictures look like my family anymore. So much changes in a year or two! Teagan is not a baby any more, she is one of the girls…and I don’t have NEARLY as much hair as the picture of Emer & the sparkler would suggest. Life truly goes by REALLY FAST! And what a blessing and a gift every day is! My four girls make life an adventure, and I’m terribly excited to see what new fun the next little one will bring!
